Lower Stockland show report Sunday 25th January.
The grass roots & preliminary Unaffilated Dressage Competition held on Sunday 25th January was a very enjoyable day . After torrential rain the night before our new all weather surface in the outdoor school was a great success giving everyone a good surface to warm up on. The Junior British Dressage walk trot test A was won by Sophie Payne in her first Dressage Competition riding Paddy,2nd Millie Myres riding Dancer & 3rd Hannah Musgrove on Bella. The winner in the Senior class was Mrs. N. John on her young horse Tess, 2nd was Babara Coles riding Besos & 3rd Sam Windust riding Murphy.
The BD test B Junior class was won by Sophie Payne giving an excellent performance on Paddy, 2nd was Bethan Mansfield riding Starlet & 3rd place was shared by Ellie Dix riding Moss in her first dressage test & Sarah Cory-Rees riding Bacroy Tammy . Mrs N. John was delighted with the consistent performance from Tess to come first, 2nd Charlotte Leigh riding Chianti & 3rd Sian Parker riding My Last Rolo.
Many of the junior riders were competing for the first time and gave excellent performances in the Preliminary class. First Olivia Sauto riding Patrick, 2nd Hannah Musgrove riding Bella, 3rd Rosie Welsh riding Magic Sam, 4th Bethan Mansfield on Starlet & joint 5th were Joely Walker, Millie Myres & Sophie Wall & 6th Rosy Ellis riding Merrie Markle. The Senior competition was won by Sylvia Lunnon on her young horse Duresso, 2nd Christy Morrissy riding Zenit-S, 3rd Amy Bartholomew on Romeo, 4th Laura Major riding Gronw Pebr,5th Claire Lewis on Maerdy Eric & 6th Sally Coates riding Rocca Fella.
We look forward to seeing everyone in our next Unaffiliated Dressage Competition to be held on Sunday 5th April.
