Stockland’s Tina Phillips and Mister O celebrate two wins this weekend

Tina Phillips and her very special "Mister O" qualified for the summer regional’s in February of this year.

After qualifying Tina decided to spend some time at home training, concentrating on getting the small things right that she felt she was losing marks on, in time to qualify for the winter regional's.

Tina says, “I have been training with my trainer Vikki Pengilly and have also had the amazing opportunity to train with Paul Fielder. I have had the best time at home learning from the experts and discovering different riding styles.  It’s been a massive learning curve for me and I am always picking up new things.”

After having had two months off for training Tina says it was very daunting to go out last weekend, competing in 2 novice classes.

However to the talented duo’s delight they came home with 2 wins at Novice and overall had the highest mark in both classes at Home Farm Equestrian Centre in Gloucester.  Tina adds, “Mister O did not disappoint, he felt amazing and had so much presence.   I am excited to be doing my first regional this year and I know Mister O has so much more to come.”

See our "Clinics and Lessons" section for information about Vikki Pengilly monthly clinics held at Stocklands. Next clinic Weds 16th July.
